- Description
- The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Research Triangle Park, NC intends to award a sole source purchase order to Illumina, Inc., San Diego, CA 92121, pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1)--Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This request is for the purchase of the following: 1) Set-Up Charge for Probe Design and Synthesis for 60 custom tox genes, 1 fee; 2) BD-30-101 6 each Sentrix Bead Chip Arrays containing 8 arrays each (48 BeadChip arrays installed on 6 BeadArray Matrices), 1 fee; 3) FA-30-101 6 each Sentrix Array Matrix (SAM) containing 96 arrays each (576 BeadArrays installed on 6 Sentrix Array Matrices), 1 fee. These patented reagents are required for use in existing Illumina Gene Expression Sentrix Bead Array System and Sherlock Scanner. All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of capability within 15 days of date of notice to Dee Lunney at the above address for consideration by the agency. Response must include detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstrating the ability to meet these requirements. Responses shall also include itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days of the date of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, an order will be placed with Illumina, Inc. The NAICS Code/Size is 325414/500 emp. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. There is no solicitation package available.
