- Description
- The Western Area Power Administration intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis 4 CPU Cards and a PC Interface Card for the Siemens S150S Programmable Logice Controller for Virginia Smith Converter Station under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. Western believes Siemens Power Transmission and Distribution Inc. is the only know source that has the proprietary information to provide these items. Anticipated award date is August 30, 2004. This notice is NOT a request for proposal/quotes, however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirements by emailing Sharon Gatenby, Contracting Officer, sgatenby@wapa.gov Capability statements must include documentation ability to satisfy the Government's requirements. Any information received will be considered only for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement.
