- Description
- The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Indiana is seeking a qualified individual/firm to repair a failed Grassed Waterway in Jackson County. The Grassed waterway has been re-surveyed and re-designed. To qualify, firm/individual will need to have the ability to use the survey information to do the reconstruction of the grassed waterway to meet the requirements of the Indiana Field Office Technical Guide, Section IV, Conservation Practice Standard, Grassed Waterway (412). This Conservation Practice Standard can be found on the NRCS website at: http://efotg.nrcs.usda.gov/treemenuFS.aspx?Fips=18057&MenuName=menuIN.zip The design of grassed waterway may also include other Conservation Practice Standards such as Grade Stabilization Structure (410), Subsurface Drain (606) and Underground Outlet (620). These and other applicable Conservation Practice standards can be found at the website referenced above. Roger?s work schedule is 7:30 am ? 4:00 pm., Monday through Friday. The successful firm/individual will be provided with contact information for the landowner. The firm/individual will be required to contact the landowner prior to starting any work. Firm/individual will be selected based on demonstrated competence for the work required. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded on/or about September 13, 2004. Initial work to begin in September, 2004 and desired work to be completed by end of September 2004. The magnitude of construction price is estimated between $25,000.00 and 100,000.00 dollars. Solicitation number IN-NRCS-2004 is being issued as a (RFQ) Request For Quotation. The contract type will be Firm Fixed Price. The associated NAICS code is 237990 and the small business size is $28.5M. The following Department of Labor Wage Determinations apply to this procurement: 1994-2198 Rev 14, 1994-2194 Rev 22, 1994-2186 Rev 12, 1994-2189 Rev 18, 1994-2192 Rev 16, and 1994-2420 Rev 17.
