Description
Questions and Answers 1) Question: The solicitation asks for color copy transparencies and color prints from the original color prints. However in the specifications NARA states "Film type should be continuous-tone, fine-grain, high-resolution, high-acutance, 7-mil polyester-based sheet film, with reasonable tonable scale of contrast; like Ilford Delta 100 or equivalent." This is not color film, but Black and White film. Can you clarify this, please? Reply: See RFQ change below. RFQ Change: The first paragraph is of PWS section 2.0 "Scope of Work" is hereby changed from: The contractor shall identify the type of film to be used. Film type should be continuous-tone, fine-grain, high-resolution, high-acutance, 7-mil polyester-based sheet film, with reasonable tonable scale of contrast; like Ilford Delta 100 or equivalent. Proposed film must be approved prior to beginning production. To the following: The contractor shall identify the type of film to be used. Film type should be fine-grain (RMS granularity of 8), high-resolution, high-acutance, E6-process color transparency sheet film; like Kodak Professional Ektachrome E100G, Fuji Fujichrome Provia 100F Professional, or equivalent. Proposed film must be approved prior to beginning production. 2) Question: Do you have an outline for what you require as documents in support of our quote? Reply: Offerors should submit a technical proposal that addresses all areas of the PWS and provide any supplementary documentation (such as film technical literature) to support their technical proposal. RFQ Change: None End of Amendment 001. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (23-AUG-2004); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
