- Description
- The issue date for the following solicitation is August 26, 2004. The U. S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals from prequalified contractors for replacement of lithium bromide chillers #2 and #3 with centrifugal chillers of the same size (400 tons each) at the Van Nuys P&DC in Santa Clarita CA. Estimated range is $750,000-$1,000,000. This is an owned facility. The proposal must contain the offeror?s overhead, profit, bonds, insurance, and all other contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after contract award. The minority subcontracting goal for this contract will be 11%. Offers will not be publicly opened. All proposal information will remain confidential until award. Project drawings may be viewed after 8/26/04 at the Barker Blue Digital Imaging ePlanroom at http://www.barkerbluedigital.com. Subcontractors may contact Barker Blue to order copies of the solicitation or drawings via the ePlanroom, by email to plotting@barkerblue.com, or by fax to 650.696-2199. The project name is USPS, the password is chillers. A pre-proposal conference will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on September 9th at the site.
