- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville, Florida requires a contract for the Sports Official services in support of MWR, Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Corry Station and Naval Air Technical Training Center, Pensacola, Florida. Services include providing sports officials for sporting events and tournaments. Sports include intramural basketball, softball, volleyball, flag football and five-a-side soccer in accordance with Performance Work Statement (PWS). Unit prices are per game with an estimated quantity for each sport. Officials must be qualified and registered through the respective national sports federation. The period of performance will begin 1 October 2004 thru 30 September 2005 for the base year and includes two (2) one-year options. Contractors shall bid on all items in order to be considered responsive. This is a firm fixed price requirements-type contract. This requirement is unrestricted. The requirement will be solicited and evaluated under FAR 12, Commercial Items and FAR 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures Test Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 713990 (All Other Amusement and Recreation Industries), size standard $6M. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration Database at www.ccr.gov prior to award. Bidders are notified that failure to register may render their firm ineligible for award. Release of the RFQ will be via the Internet. Interested parties may download the RFQ upon its issuance from the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. The Solicitation will be issued on or about 26 July 2004.
