******************************************************************This amendment is effective 8/23/04. The anticipated solicitation issuance date has been moved to on or about 13 Sept. 2004.*************************************************************Data base management and technical support/services are required in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard's Lifting and Handling Department. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price service contract on a best value basis. The Government also anticipates the use of FAR Parts 12 & 15 for this procurement. The solicitation will be issued on or around 16 Aug 2004. This procurement will be a 100% small business set aside. A base year with 4 option years is being contemplated at this time. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed.
