- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive (sole source) basis with The MathWorks, Inc. to procure the Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) MATLAB application software. The MATLAB software is to be investigated, demonstrated, and implemented to support the NAVAIR Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) and the following three projects: (1) Direct Test and Diagnostics, (2) Vectorizing Test Program Sets (TPS) Measurements, (3) System Synthesis Model. The Mathworks Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and developer of this software. The Government intends to procure the above item under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received in writing within 15 days of publication of this notice.
