Description

Description: The National Park Service intends to issue a Prospectus for a Concession Contract for food and beverages and retail services within Rocky Mountain National Park on September 1, 2004. The contract will offer commercial services at Trail Ridge Store. The prospectus will explain the business opportunity and the terms and conditions under which the National Park Service will award the concession contract. The Director, pursuant to 36 CFR Part 51, has determined that the existing concessioner is not a Preferred Offeror for this contract. One contract will be issued for the above-listed services. Any offer, including that of the existing concessioner, must be received by the Chief, Business Resources Division, National Park Service, Intermountain Region, P.O. Box 25287, Denver, CO 80225-0287 (Federal Express address: 12795 West Alameda Parkway, Lakewood, CO 80228) no later than one hundred thirty five (135) days after the release of the prospectus in order to be evaluated and considered for an award of a concession contract to provide these services within Rocky Mountain National Park. The prospectus will be issued September 1, 2004, for a 135-day response period under the terms described in the prospectus, with proposals due no later than 4:00 p.m., on January 13, 2005. There is a printing cost recovery charge of $75 per copy to be delivered via Federal Express or $65 per copy if picked up in person. Persons, interested in obtaining a prospectus should mail or bring in person a check or money order (NO CASH SALES) made payable to the National Park Service. A Tax Identification Number (TIN) or Social Security Number (SSN) is required on all checks. You must include a business address (no post office box) to received a Federal Express Package. Persons wishing to pick up a prospectus in person can obtain a prospectus at the National Park Service, Business Resources Division, Intermountain Region, 12795 West Alameda Parkway, Lakewood, CO during business hours of 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Prospectus packages will be available on September 1, 2004, by contacting Judy Jennings, Chief, Business Resources Division, Intermountain Region, National Park Service, P.O. Box 25287, Denver, CO 80225. Telephone inquires may be directed to (303) 969-2661. A site visit is scheduled for September 21. Interested parties should contact Karen Reese, Concessions Management Specialist, Intermountain Region, at (303) 969-2667 if they intend to participate in this visit.
