Description
The Bureau of Indian Affairs, San Carlos Irrigation Project (SCIP), is soliciting quotations for the purchase of wood poles, two different lengths. The wood poles, power line service, to be Douglas Fir, in accordance with American Wood-Preservers' Association (AWPA) Standard C4-95, specifications and dimensions for wood poles as approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standard 05.1. Pole drilling, gains and identification shall be in accordance with U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Rural Utilities Service (REA) Specifications for poles as found in REA Specification M20, "Pole Framing Guide". REA Specification can be found in the USDA Rural Utilities Service Bulletin 50-3, "Standard D-804, Specifications and Drawings for 12.5/7.2 KV Line Construction". Poles are to be Class 2 with full length Pentachlorophenol treatment. Poles shall be treated by pressure method (Per AWPA C4) with a solution of Pentachlorophenol (Per AWPA P8) in a Type A heavy petroleum solvent (Per AWPA P9) with a final retention of 0.6 pounds per cubic foot, including but not limited to AWPA Standards C1 and C4. Poles are to be in the following lengths: 40 foot (200 Each) and 45 foot (50 Each). Poles are to be delivered as follows: One (1) truckload of 40 foot wood poles to SCIP, Oracle Field Office, 1605 American Avenue, Oracle, Arizona 85623. Oracle is located in Pinal County in south central Arizona. One (1) truckload of 40 foot wood poles to SCIP, San Carlos Field Office, 1 San Carlos Avenue/Aravaipa, San Carlos, Arizona 85550. San Carlos is located on the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation, in Gila County, in south central Arizona. The balance of the 40 foot wood poles and the 45 foot poles are to be delivered to SCIP, O&M Yard, 13805 North Arizona Boulevard, Coolidge, Arizona 85228. Coolidge is located in Pinal County in south central Arizona. Poles are to be delivered on a SELF-UNLOADING truck. Please give estimated ship date(s).
