Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is set-aside for Small Business. The total estimated value of this procurement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The U. S. Army Corp of Engineers, Kansas City District, request quotes to purchase four (4) trailer mounted, diesel powered, dewatering (trash) pumps. Specifications as follows: Quantity of 4. 6?????? X 6?????? Trash Pump with 3?????? solids handling capability. Compressor or Vacuum assisted, Fully automatic dry priming, run dry capability 4 cylinder 4-cycle diesel engine 230 to 250 cubic inch displacement. Trailer mounted (5000 lbs capacity) (minimum). 50 gal fuel tank (minimum capacity). Safety features shall in clude: Shut down switches for low oil pressure and high temperature. Instrument panel to include: Temperature and oil pressure gauges, AMP meter or Voltmeter, Hour Meter, Tachometer, 12 Volt electric start. Complete with 12-volt battery, trailer lights, tr ailer fenders, trailer lifting bail, trailer hitch and safety chains. Instructions and O&M manuals (Set of 2).
