- J??????The contractor shall provide engineering/technical services for inspection and analysis (teardown) of Category 1 (CAT 1) Deficiency Report exhibits of GTCP 36 Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) reported as deficient. The authority cited is 10 U.S.C . 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The approved source is Honeywell International Incorporated, Defense and Space of Tempe, Arizona. Honeywell International Incorporate d has proprietary rights to detailed drawings of components, tools, test equipment and technical data, including manufacturing details, design drawings and inspection criteria needed for CAT 1 teardown analysis of GTCP 36 APUs. Firms are encouraged to see k source approval in order to compete for subcontracting opportunities or future solicitations by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocates Shopping List (CASL) procedures. These procedures are outlined at the following web sit e: http://www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/. Submit request(s) for source approval to: Commander, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-MMC-AV-S, Building 5309, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280. All responsible sources may submit an offer that may be considered by the agency. There will be no telephone or e-mail requests for proposals accepted. Request will be by data fax to (256) 955-9237 or mailed only to, ATTN: AMSAM-AC-LM-M, Ernestine Small, Contract Specialist. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closin g date stated above. See Note 22.
