- This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on FA4814-04-R-M0817-1. All Statement of Need and Evaluation Factor requirements must be met as they appear in this notice. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-12 and Defense Acquisition Circular 2003-03-01. NAICS Code 327331 (Blocks, concrete and cinder, manufacturing) applies to this procurement. DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS: This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: CLIN 0001: Purchase 10?L x 30?H x 24?W concrete barriers for use on north tactical range at Avon Park AFR. See attached document for photo. The slots located on the top of the blocks are not required. No additional reinforcement is needed, just enough to hold the block together in its current form.
