Description
This requirement is based on the Statement of Work and Atch # 1: STATEMENT OF WORK Solicitation Number: FA4819-0236-2004 1. Currently the Airfield Pavement Evaluation Team has a broken controller for concrete testing. We need to purchase a new data acquisition system and control rate processor items for the retrofit include: a. 5500 computer based data acquisition system b. One analog channel of signal conditioning for the load c. Adapter cable and rationalization of frame?s primary load cell d. Expansion slot for adding a digital position encoder for measuring actuator Stroke/position and/or adding up to two additional analog sensor cards for measuring strain. 2. The data acquisition system shall include automatic recognition and calibration Of transducers, user selectable system of units, data sampling rate of 40 KHz with 500 Hz synchronous data logging on all channels, single range system to elimate range crossover transients. AC excitation with synchronous sampling to reduce noise on transducer signals, load measurement accuracy of +1.0% of reading down to 1/250 of load cell capacity an strain measurement accuracy down to 1/50 of full range with ASTM E83 class B-1, B-2 or ISO 9513 class 0.5 extensometer. This should also come with interface card and cable. Since this new system will join an older concrete crushing device. W-9403 W-9494 or W-9405 must be selected for each existing extensometer to be rationalized with the upgrade system. The existing extensometers to be rationalized with the upgrade system must be sent to the manufacturer, SATEC, prior to shipment of the upgrade system. At the time of ordering, CO must specify machine model, Serial # and voltage on which the system is currently operating. 3. Points of contact within AFCESA are Mr. Dick Smith, SSgt Jacob Sanabia and SSgt Greg Welch. They can be reached through Mr. Louis Anderson, Contract Specialist, Phone number: 850-283-8638. Also there is an Attachment # 1 for vendor that may meet this requirement. To get the Atch # 1 contact Mr. Anderson , Phone number above and provide your email address or Fax Number.
