- Description: Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source supply purchase order to provide: 1) Aircraft External Power Cord Assembly, 175 foot, 400 HZ, Part Number: JB8816-175SNJ, 4 each; and 2) Replacement female, six pin end for Aircraft External Power Cord, Part Number: JB7174, 8 each to J & B Aviation Services, 2850 Cordelia Dr., Fairfield, CA 94534. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because J & B Aviation Services is the sole vendor that manufactures these cords and plugs that can meet our customer?s required specifications.
