Description
This modification is being issued to cancel FA4625-04-R-0007 the synopsis for COCESS as it was issued with an incorrect solicitation number. It will be reissued under solicitation number FA4625-04-R-0008. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for RFP FA4625-04-R-0007. All Statement of work and Evaluation Factor must be met as they appear in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001.20 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The NAICS code 335999 applies to this solicitation. The size standard is 500 employees. The item description is as follows: Contractor to furnish all tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, and materials required to install, connect, and program openers. 1. GENERAL work to be done: The contractor shall provide all labor; materials and equipment to install a Genie ? HP Screw drive garage door opener system or equal in 89 Military Family Housing (MFH) units. Existing power receptacles shall be used to install new garage door opener systems. 2. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to install, connect and program garage door openers. There shall be three methods of operation for each garage door opener system installed. These three systems are a hand held remote, exterior wireless remote and an interior push button. 3. The contractor shall test the three methods of operation for each garage door opener system to ensure that proper operation is achieved. 4. All materials shall be new and American made. 5. All materials shall be installed as per manufacturer? s instructions, all applicable codes, and recognized good work practices. 6. Safety and quality shall be in compliance with all OSHA requirements. 7. Contractor shall be responsible for jobsite clean up. Daily cleanup is mandatory. All other debris and trash generated by this project becomes the project becomes the property of the subcontractor and shall be removed from the confines of Whiteman AFB for proper disposal in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and/or Local regulations. 8. Normal Hours of Operation. The contractor shall perform the services during the following hours: 7:00 AM ? 3:30 PM Monday ? Friday 9. Security: Contractor shall be required to have an Entry Authorization List (EAL) letter if not already registered on base. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Item, applies to this acquisition. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of these provisions with their quote.
