Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Coleman, Florida, intends to issue solicitation RFQ30211-0034-4, for a supply/service contract for COFFEE SERVICE to include equipment, product and service, capable of serving approximately 5900 patrons in a one hour period. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded under the simplified acquisition procedures. Vendor will supply, install, and maintain sixteen (16) coffee machines. The equipment will be in five (5) service locations, all within close proximity of each other. Locations to include all of FCC Coleman (Camp, Low, Medium, USP 1 and USP 2). All repairs must be completed within twenty-four (24) hours of notification. Vendor must provide emergency service twenty-four (24) hours per day at no extra charge. Coffee must be concentrated, premium roast, with disposable packaging to prepare an eight ounce medium strength, caffeinated beverage. No metal or glass containers. Delivery schedule of the coffee concentrate will be weekly. Period of performance will be from date of Award (approximately October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is August 26, 2004, with offers due by September 20, 2004, 2:00 p.m. local time (EST). This solicitation will be available solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website, http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 20, 2004. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offer must include a completed copy of the FAR Provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications (June 2003) with its offer to be considered responsible.
