- Description
- All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) in order to be considered for award. Information on the registration process can be found on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. You may call 1-888-222-2323 for help. Modifications to the potable water system at the Timberlake Job Corps Center. Work includes 1. Furnish and install a pitless adaptor, well seal-cap, 20 Hp submersible pump, drop pipe, concrete slab, fiberglass transclosure and related appurtenances, 2. Construct open-trench utility work with piping from well to treatment building complete with excavation, pipe bedding, backfill, piping, conduit, and related appurtenances, 3. Construct concrete valve box with excavation, backfill, gate valves, piping, vault lid, and related appurtenances, 4. Modify existing treatment plant piping with new bypass piping, hangers, valves, fittings, and related appurtenances, 5. Relocation of existing turbidimeter, 6. Modification of existing process control panel, 7. Construct new process control panel to accomodate new well and integration with existing control panel, 8. Other bid options include construction of new emergency generator transfer switch and plug, replacement of single phase compressor motor with new 3 phase motor and related work, replacement of existing mercury float swithches in storage tank with stainless steel float switches and the addition of a level transducer, and the replacement of the existing mechanical flow meter with a magnetic flow meter and installation of flow rate recorder in existing panel. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered. Award of this project to be accomplished under Full and Open Competition, pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
