- AMENDMENT NUMBER 3. The following statements are corrections and/or additional information to the provided specifications. 1. On page 4, under Fire Alarm Systems, add the statement ?Provide and install one (1) light and siren combination fixture in the north end office conference room; match existing products or equal. Final location to be approved by the COR.? 2. On page 4, under Fire Alarm Systems, add the statement ?Integrate the warehouse fire alarm system with the office fire alarm system.? The following statements are corrections to the provided specifications. 3. On page 3, under Sandia District Office, change the statement ?A. Local fire alarm and automatic sprinkler system exists; integrate with the new systems.? To: ?A. Local fire alarm and automatic sprinkler system exists. Integrate fire alarm system status with display at the proposed exterior door keypads? 4. On page 3, under Sandia District Office, change the statement ?B. Intrusion alarm; utilize existing lights and sirens for local alarms.? To: ?B. Intrusion alarm; provide system complete with on-site and remote monitoring signaling and local alarm sounding equipment.? 5. On page 3, under Sandia District Office, change the statement ?C. Card-in access system; utilize existing lights and sirens for local alarms.? To: ?C. Card-in access system; provide system complete with on-site and remote monitoring signaling; utilize equipment supplied with intrusion system for local alarm.? 6. On page 3, under Sandia District Office Warehouse, change the statement ?H. Intrusion alarm; utilize existing lights and sirens installed with fire alarm system for local alarm.? To: ?H. Intrusion alarm; provide system complete with on-site and remote monitoring signaling and local alarm sounding equipment; integrate with office system.? The following statements are clarifications to the provided specifications. 7. The Forest Service is following the guidance provided by the jurisdictional Fire Marshal for the area in which the building is located. This entity is Bernalillo County, New Mexico. Bernalillo County currently uses the UFC, 2000 ed. And the Life Safety Code. 8. Card readers shall be installed per ADA requirements. The top of the card reader shall be at 48?. 9. The solicitation does not request window (glass) break sensors. 10. The monitoring systems shall have date and time stamp for systems? events. 11. The contractor may expect to encounter the following in walls: Cold rolled U Channel stud bracing at 5? O.C. maximum for full height of stud walls.
