- Apple Creek ? Wetland Reserve Program project located in Greene County, Illinois. Work consists of furnishing all equipment, labor, supplies, materials and incidentals necessary to plant 210 acres of containerized trees, seed and mulch eight acres on wetland berms, and install 30 small signs and posts. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities web page on or about September 7, 2004. Requests for hardcopy solicitation must be in writing. Fax your request to 217-353-6677. This solicitation is unrestricted and is not set-aside for small business concerns. The cost range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The performance period is from contact award through December 31, 2004. A site showing will be held on September 8, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Greene County Service Center located R. R. 3, Route 267 North, in Carrollton, Illinois. For directions, call that location at 217-942-5464 ext 3. After a brief meeting concerning the bidding process and contract requirements, the group will tour the work site. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration can be accomplished at the CCR website: http://www.ccr.gov. The Interested Vendor List (IVL) feature was enabled for this solicitation on today.
