- NOTICE OF INTENT TO PROCURE A BUNDLED CONTRACT The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will issue a request for a Request for Quote (RFQ), for the following item: SPIRONOLACTONE TABLETS, 25 MG. – Est. Annual Usage: 25,390,200 tablets -- SPIRONOLACTONE TABLETS, 50 MG. – Est. Annual Usage: 441,200 tablets -- SPIRONOLACTONE TABLETS, 100 MG. – Est. Annual Usage: 742,900 tablets. Award will result in a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) quotation pursuant to Clause I-FSS-646 of Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract, for mandatory use of Spironolactone Tablets, 25 mg., 50 mg. and 100 mg., by Veteran Affairs (VA) Medical Center facilities. The purpose of this RFQ is to award Spironolactone in large or bulk containers for repackaging and distribution (under a VA label) to the medical centers by Health and Human Services Perry Point (HHSPP). OFFERS ARE NOT BEING SOLICITED AT THIS TIME. A formal solicitation or request for quotations will be issued at a later date. NOTE: PRODUCT MUST BE MANUFACTURED IN A DESIGNATED COUNTRY, A CARIBBEAN BASIN COUNTRY, OR A NAFTA COUNTRY (UNITED STATES, CANADA, AND MEXICO). A LISTING OF DESIGNATED COUNTRIES AND CARIBBEAN BASIN COUNTRIES MAY BE FOUND IN THE FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATIONS (FAR) PART 25.003. Companies who do not have their products on an FSS contract will be eliminated from the competition. COMMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN JULY 14, 2004.
