- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a sole source hardware contract with Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC), 1 Hornet Way, El Segundo, CA 90245-2804 for the service life extension of the F/A-18 C/D aircraft. This contract will procure hardware which relates to the Center Barrel Replacement Plus (CBR+) program in support of the United States Navy (USN) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. NGC is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the CBR+ parts. As such, NGC is the only source possessing the unique knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform the described effort in the requisite time frame. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. See Notes 22 and 26!!
