- This is a notice of intent to negotiate and award a single source contract and is not a request for proposal. There is no solicitation available. Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks contemplates issuing a contract to Firestorm Wildland Fire Suppression Inc. to stage a crew in the Parks for Severity for 30 days to perform a variety of duties related to prescribed fire operations including; unit preparation, ignition, holding, mop-up setup and breakdown of water handling equipment and other duties as assigned. The authority Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks will negotiate this single sorce contract is FAR, "Unusual and Compelling Urgency" 6.302-2
