- SYNOPSITATION FOR INDUCTION HEATING SYSTEM FA8601-04-T-0150 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item to be procured for the Air Force Institute of Technology at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA8601-04-T-0150 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), CLOSING DATE AND TIME ARE 31 AUG 04 AT 4:00 PM EST. No hard copies will be sent. THIS PROPOSED ACQUISITION IS 100 PERCENT SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. The associated standard industrial classification (SIC) code is 3567 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333298. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The RFQ has one (4) line items. LINE ITEM 0001: Induction Power Supply LINE ITEM 0002: Remote, Heat Station LINE ITEM 0003: Capacitor, Heat Station LINE ITEM 0004: Flowswitch MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS for the Induction Heating System are attached at www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil. Offerors must complete the fill-ins at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, which are attached at www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil. FOB point is Destination (Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433). Quoted prices should be delivered (FOB Destination) prices. Quote should contain best possible delivery date.
