- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial non-personal services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA4861-04-Q-A026 issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12 and 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-04. THIS SOLICITATION IS UNRESTRICTED. The Standard Industry Classification (SIC) for this solicitation is 7538 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811111. Based on the size standard for small business of $6M annually. This solicitation closes on 31 August 2004. Award will be made on or about 3 September 2004. The item description is as follows: CLIN 0001 ? The Supplier shall furnish all personnel, equipment, services, materials, transportation, and labor to repair a 91D210 International Harvester Co. Water Distribution Truck; Year: 1991; Engine Model: DT-466; VIN: 1HTSHZ4R2MH323894 located at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. The specific following repairs are required: 1.) Lub/Oil/Filter Service; 2.) Repack Wheel Bearings; 3.) Install User Supplied, Water Distribution Pump; 4.) Repair Spray Bar Switch in Vehicle Cab (leaks air); 5.) Replace Intermediate Axle Front Pinion Seal; 6.) Repair Turbo Oil Return Line Leak; 7.) Replace Leaking Steering Pump; 8.) Repair both Rear Turn Signal/Brake Lights; 9.) Replace Exhaust System from Flex Pipe back (includes Muffler); 10.) Repair Leaking Fuel Injection Pump on Primary Engine; 11.) Repair Transimission Leak. Repairs will be completed at Contractor?s business site. Therefore, quoted prices should include transportation costs associated with removing the piece of equipment from Nellisis Air Forbase, NV to Contractor?s business site and back to Nellis Air Force Base, NV once repairs are completed. The equipment to be repaired may be viewed at Nellis Air Force Base, NV. Commercial Items (ATTACHMENT 1). Offerors who fail to complete and submit the requirements above may be considered non-responsive.
