- Description
- The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), currently located in Alexandria, Virginia, has a requirement for the continued and improved processing and maintenance of applications and application related papers, maintenance of miscellaneous paper files, processing of fee payments, mailing of examine office actions and related services. Additionally, the Objective of these services and any future requirements of this project is to insure the USPTO has available the resources needed to carry out its mission. The USPTO anticipates the period of performance of this acquisition to be for a 1-year base period and 4 1-year option periods. The acquisition will be 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. This acquisition will be classified under NAICS #561210. The RFP will be made available on the USPTO website at http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/ac/comp/proc/currproj.htm on or about August 23, 2004. A pre proposal conference and site visit will be held prior to the due date for proposals and will be indicated in the RFP. Information regarding the pre proposal conference and site visit will be posed at the USPTO website http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/ac/comp/proc/currproj.htm. Those choosing to attend are encouraged to check the web site often for further information. Interested parties must respond to the RFP in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. After release of the RFP all potential offerors are requested to submit questions electronically to the following Email address: PTOSS@uspto.gov. The identity of the author or associated company of the questions will not be published. Questions must be presented no later than the date specified in the RFP.
