- The USDA, AMS, COTTON PROGRAM intends to procure security guard service for the period beginning September 15, 2004 through September 14, 2005. Firm Fixed Price. Submit Faxed quotations to "Admin Staff" at 901-384-3033, Attendion Amanda J. Stollings. QUOTATIONS ARE DUE SEPTEMBER 09, 2004, BY 10:00 a.m. local time. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. NAICS 561612 with a SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD OF $10.5 m . This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as, supplemented wtih additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only sollicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This Solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-24. Applicable FAR clauses are incorporated by reference; Prompt Payment 52.249-1 (4/84); Changes-Fixed Price 52.243-1 (8/87); Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items 52.212-1; Evaluation-Commercial items 52.212-4 (05/01); Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items 52.212-5 (10/98). ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT A QUOTATION FOR CONSIDERATION. All offers must be signed. Hourly charge $________________ SPECIFICATIONS: Provide uniformed, unarmed and armed guard to provide protection for all personnel and property at 3275 Appling Road Memphis TN 38133. One guard (armed) January 2005 through mid September 2005; Three guards (armed) Mid September through December 2004 (1 for each shift); Two guards (unarmed)(1 for the evening shift and 1 for the midnight shift) Mid September through December 2004. The Service Contract Act applies to this procurement. A copy of the Department Of Labor prevailing wage # 94-2496 Rev. 6-11-2004 is available upon request. Price must include al costs on a per month basis. Award will be made on the lowest price technically acceptable to the Government.
