- Description
- Contractor shall be responsible for developing a statewide outreach, training, and communication strategy to develop certified professional Technical Service Providers (TSP)in the State of Washington. The 2002 Farm Bill authorized the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to use non-federal TSP's from private sector, non-profit organizations, Tribes, and units of state and local government. Currently NRCS has approximately 85 TSP's certified to provide an array of technical assistance to farmers and ranchers in NRCS Farm Bill Programs. The successful contractor will be required to communicate with individual TSP's, develop and facilitate TSP Orientation and Training, develop and distribute TSP Reference Binders, and begin outreach efforts to producers about the availability of assistance from the TSP's. The proposed contract is designated as a total small business set-aside, and is estimated to be between $100,000 and $200,000.
