Description

The General Services Administration (GSA) Office of Government-wide Policy, Professional Development Division is having their Annual Interagency Resources Management Conference (IRMCO) which is a Government-wide training conference for about 400 senior Federal, Business, CIO, State, Local and International officials. IRMCO has been in existence for over 40 years as of the successful training conferences that GSA has conducted to promote and enhance effective information resources management for managers and key personnel in Federal agencies. To assist in accomplishing this task IRMCO requires audio visual, technical support and expertise to ful fill their requirements for a seemingly distration free conference. The General Services Administration proposes to award a sole source contract to Swank Audio Visuals, LLC. The vendor is the audio visual company serving the hotel and has an office on site that will provide support to GSA 24 hours a day. Through our experience and market reserach, GSA believes that the prices are about the same. The only difference would be that GSA would have to pay another company to send five or six people, and pay their travel and lodging expenses. Any other firm desiring consideration must fully identify its capability to perform this requirement within the required timeframe and allotted budget. GSA plans to make a sole source award to Swank Audio Visuals after fifteen (15) days of the publication of this notice. Please not that this announcement is not a Request for Proposal and no solicitation will be issued as a result of this notice.
