- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has issued an amendment to solicitation No. TIRNO-04-R-00015 for the requirement for Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) individual electronic tax preparation and transmission software and support. Please note that this amendment, as well as the initial solicitation document are now posted at www.irs.gov. To access these documents, use the Business Opportunities tab, then go under IRS Procurement. All solicitations and amendments will be listed under the block titled, ?What's New at Procurement.? Copies of these documents can only be obtained from the Internet address listed above. All relevant information regarding proposal preparation and submission will be included in the solicitation document. Please note that the proposal due date has changed.
