- ANY REQUESTS MUST BE WITH YOUR COMPANY NAME, ADDRESS, TELEPHONE AND FAX NUMBER, PLEASE NO EMAILS UNABLE TO ACCESS IT. NO SUBSTITUTIONS SHALL BE ACCEPTABLE. The United State Naval Academy (USNA) has a requirement for Repairing of two (2) Creep Machine manufactured by Instron Corporation, 100 Royall Street, Canton MA 02021-1089, This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1: Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services shall satisfy the agency?s requirement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five (45) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice or received as a result of a notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The procurement of this highly specialized service in a competitive basis will result in a duplication of cost and time to the government. Clin 0001 ? Repair flood damaged 20k Model JE-1012 Creep Machine. Replacements shall include Draw head assembly, clutch assembly, elevator assembly, draw head drive assembly, furnace bars, alignment coupling, limit switches, motor starter, elevator screw, furnace temperature control panel, timer/draw head panel and demodulator panel. (Replacing with AK1 Panel). Shall include labor to disassemble machine, repaint and re-assemble machine. Clin 0002 ? Repair Flood damaged 20K Model JE-1013 Creep Machine.
