Description
The U.S. Marine Corps will be soliciting for equipment and services for general office and industrial trash removal (no hazardous waste) at U.S. Marine Corps Blount Island Command. Contractor must provide (1) 20-cubic-yard rolloff container for trash collection and removal. The government reserves the right to request additional 20 or 40 cubic-yard rolloff containers for short or long term durations to be supplied within 48 hours of request. Landfill(s) to be used must meet Resource Conservation and Recovery Act Subtitle D regulations and must be approved by the Government prior to initial use. All work performed will be in accordance with the Statement of Work to be described in detail in the solicitation. Contract will be issued for one base year and four option years. This procurement is being conducted under the simplified acquisition procedures identified within FAR 12 for commercial items. As such, the award may be made within 30 days of the date of this a! nnouncement. The solicitation document will be posted on the NECO website (www.neco.navy.mil) within 10 days of this announcement. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this Internet site for the release of amendments (if any). Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil. Solicitations shall be mailed or e-mailed to the following address: Contract Support Branch, Attn: Alice M. Settle, Blount Island Command, 5880 Channel View Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 3226-3404.
