- Description
- The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia announces its intent to issue a small business set-aside solicitation for Engineering, Technical, and Industrial Support for the NAVSEA Shipbuilding Support Office (NAVSHIPSO) for the support of projects assigned NAVSHIPSO by various DOD Technical Activities and other government agencies. Such projects may include the design, modification, installation, integration, documentation, training and maintenance of electronic based systems such as audio-visual systems, distance learning systems, local/wide area networks, and specialized military electronics systems. The RFP, which should be issued around 1 OCT 04, contemplates a Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract for a base period of one year with provisions for four one-year option periods. This requirement will be evaluated on a best value basis and offerors will be expected to submit both price and technical proposals for the consideration of! the Government. All qualified small businesses are encouraged to submit proposals for consideration of the Government. It is the intention of the Navy to issue this RFP through electronic means only. This RFP shall be available upon issuance at http://www.neco.navy.mil. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541512.
