- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA 93042-5001 plans to negotiate a Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract to acquire services on an other than full and open competitive basis. The contractor shall provide systems engineering and technical support services in support of Naval surface weapons programs, including anti-air warfare test and evaluation operations and associated fleet weapons training exercises. Systems include Naval surface weapons systems, shipboard launch and control systems, tactical data systems, and requirements analysis for Navy standard Aegis unique full-scale and sub-scale aerial targets, including surrogate threat target systems required to support range operations and test. Performance shall be for a five year period, with a level of effort of 138,700 man-hours, and is anticipated to begin on 1 January 2005. This is a competitive requirement pursuant to Section 8(a) of the Small Business! Act, 15 U.S.C. 637(a)(1). Competition will be limited to 8(a) Certified firms approved for NAICS Code 541330. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers.
