Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, a quote is being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation N61339-04-T-0084 is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ) and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-13. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 334111 with a size standard of 1000 employees. This requirement consits of the replacement of THREE (3) Dell PowerEdge 2200 workstations with 220MHz CPU Speed, 2.0Gbytes hard drive and 128Mbytes of RAM for the In-Service Engineering Office (ISEO) to support Marine Corps H-1 Training devices. The Period of Performance (POP) begins upon contract award and ends 30 September 2004. BACKGROUND: The H1 ISEO uses these workstations to support the development, maintenance, and configuration management of software codes for the H-1 Training Systems. These workstations will be used as offline, stand alone support equipment for the Cobra/Huey Weapon Systems Trainer (WST) and Cobra/Huey Aircrew Procedures Trainer (APT) at MCAS Camp Pendleton, CA. MINIMUM HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS: Intel Pentium 4 Processor 3.2HGz; 1M/800Mhz FSB; One (1) GB DDR Non-ECC SDRAM, 33MHz; UltraSharp 17 inch Flat panel display; 128MB, Nvidai, GeForce Fx5200, VGA adapter; Boot drive, 160GB SATA, 7200RPM Hard Drive with data Burst Cache; Secondary drive, 160GB SATA, 7200RPM Hard Drive with data Burst Cache; 1.44MB 2.5 Inch Floppy drive; USB Keyboard; USB Optical Mouse; Integrated Intel Gigabit (10/100/1000), with Alert Stands Format; 24X Max, DVD-CDRW Combo Drive with software decode; Small Form Factor Chassis and stand; At least two available PCI slots. MINIMUM SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, SP1; Microsoft Windows XP Professional media; Antivirus software; Office XP Pro, Office 2003 Pro license with media. DOCUMENTATION: The contractor shall provide all standard commercial documentation to support the operation and maintenance of the workstations replacement equipment. QUALITY ASSURANCE: The contractor shall ensure that the hardware and software of the workstation replacement conform to the original equipment specifications. WARRANTY: The contractor shall provide for a three (3) year warranty on parts and workmanship of the workstation replacement computers. SHIP TO: NAVAIR ORL TSD H-1 ISEO; c/o MCAS Camp Pendleton; Flight Simulator Building 2394; Camp Pendleton, CA 92055-5151. DELIVERY: FOB, Destination no later than 30 September 2004. INSPECTION/ACCEPTANCE: Shall occur at destination upon delivery. AWARD CRITERIA: The Government will award to the offeror submitting the Low Cost Technically Acceptable (LCTA) proposal. The following FAR/DFARS provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, 52.212-3 ALTERNATE 1, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (Dev), 252.212-7001. The following clauses of DFARS apply: 252.212-7001 and 252-225-7001. A COMPLETED COPY OF THE FOLLOWING MUST BE INCLUDED WITH THE QUOTE: FAR 52.212-3 AND DFARS 252.212-7000. The following clauses also apply: DFARS 252.204-7004, "Required Central Contractor Registration". The DPAS rating for this solicitation is N/A. See Note 22 (forty-five days is changed to read fifteen days).
