Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has a requirement to issue a follow-on hardware contract to replace N00019-02-C-3066 as a final buy out with one base year and two one-year options for the procurement of engineering and technical support for the legacy AN/TSQ-142 Tactical EA-6B Mission Support (TEAMS) System. The TEAMS system manages the EA-6B tactical database, creates mission critical loads for the ALQ-99, and performs post-flight analysis of EA-6B flight mission data. The AN/TSQ-142 system consists of two J600, one HP-735 TAC-3 processor, an operator control station, and several input/output devices. The system has several custom interface boards. The efforts to be procured include updating the TEAMS maintenance guides and several other manuals necessary for the operators of the TEAMS legacy system. Updating these manuals requires in-depth knowledge of the TEAMS system, the EA-6B aircraft software and weapons, and several other DoD electronic warfare systems. Additionally, technical support efforts will be procured for the installation of several new hardware sub-components into the TEAMS system. These installations will occur at several deployed sites, including aboard aircraft carriers. Northrop Grumman PRB Systems is the designer, developer, and the sole manufacturer of TEAMS and is the only known source with the in-depth knowledge of equipment necessary to perform this effort to meet program schedule requirements. The estimated period of performance is November 2004 through October 2006. This announcement is for information only. Synopsis No. 20049-04 See note No. 22!!
