- Description
- The National Park Service (NPS) intends to award a concession contract for commercial air taxi services between Kantishna Airstrip and McKinley Airstrip and scenic air tour services from Kantishna airstrip within Denali National Park and Preserve. The contract to be awarded will be for the period January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2014. The prospectus will explain the business opportunity, the terms and conditions under which the NPS will award the concession contract, the proposal instructions and proposal package. The solicitation, selection and award of the concession contract will be conducted pursuant to 36 CFR Part 51. The park intends to release the prospectus on August 6, 2004. The responses must be received by the National Park Service by 4:00pm on October 15, 2004 at National Park Service, Alaska Regional Office, Division of Concession Management, 240 West 5th Avenue, #114, Anchorage, Alaska 99501-2327 or Denali National Park and Preserve, Attn: Concessions Division, P.O. Box 9, Milepost 237 George Parks Highway, Park Headquarters, Mile 3 Park Road, Denali National Park, Alaska 99755. The prospectus can be accessed via the internet, please visit the Denali National Park and Preserve website at www.nps.gov/dena. Hard copies of the prospectus will be mailed upon request.
