- Description
- The project involves adding geographic reference to 2,858 scanned images of BLM Master Title Plats (MTP's) currently in .TIF file format and delivering the updated, geo-referenced files on CD or DVD media. The goal of the project is for BLM employees to be able to bring the geo-referenced image files into ArcMap and ArcView GIS software and view the images in their proper geographic locations and to correctly display with the township and range land-grid or "drape" other vector data Themes in the same geographic locations over the MTP images which will be used as "backdrop displays".
