- Description
- The Bureau of Indian Affairs's objective of this development effort is to implement an IT system that will address the issues of imaging and managing documents, records and their disposition, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act (PA) requests, controlled correspondence, workflow tracking, and associated tasks and requirements, such as document redacting and report writing. These related processes frequently share data and/or documents, and need to be integrated components of a single system. This system must be a web-based system for users to access through any standard web browser, such as MS Internet Explorer. The CIO intends to implement an IT system that can support these different processes and procedures using a single, relational database management system, and a common repository of document images. ++++++++CRUCIAL DATES AND OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION++++++++++ >>>>>>>>THIS PROCUREMENT IS A BUY INDIAN SET ASIDE. When the award is made, vendors will also be given a Notice to Proceed letter stating that they are not to begin performance until at least 10 days after the award and then only after receiving written authorization from a BIA warranted contracting officer.
