- This synopsis is for three (1) each Forklift Truck with reverse Tilt/high height control stability. This Forklift is required to perform Performance Oriented Packaging testing on large capacity intermediate bulk containers. In order to perform bot tom lift tests on heavier capacity containers, a minimum 13,500 lb capacity truck is required. This piece of equipment is intended to be utilized within and outside the packaging laboratory. The forklift truck will be utilized to move containers and test loads which are to heavy for the fortlift trucks currently in the laboratory. The truck shall be powered by a liquid propane gas engine. The basic capacity shall be 13,500 lb, The forklift length shall be 48 inches, The maximum lift height shall be 180 to 188 inches, The tires shall be smooth tread tires, The truck shall meet all applicable OSHA standards, The free lift shall be 40 inches minimum, The warranty shall be 1 yr/2000 hours minimum, The travel speed shall be 10 mph minimum, and the lift speed shall be 75 fpm minimum, Transmissions shall be minimum two speed automatics, Maximum width shall be 66 inches, Steering shall be hydrostatic power assist, Maximum lowered mast height shall be 100 inches, The truck shall have side shift capability,The truc k shall have automatic fork leveling capability. This announcement constitutes the only solicitations that will be issued; a written solicitation will not be issued. Proposals are requested for the following: (1) each Forklift Truck with reverse Tilt/hig h height control stability. Delivery Address :US AMC LOGSA PSCD ATTN: BLDG 2, BAY 5, 11 HAP ARNOLD BLVD, TOBYHANNA, PA. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to negotiate one award based on offer tha t is most advantageous to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a bid/proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by this agency.
