- This is a presolicitation notice for sole sourcing commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; pro posals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quote W912NS-04-T-0156, the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-24. The No rth American Industry Classification System Code is 334515 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE ON A SOLE SOURCE BASIS WITH Avtron Manufacturing, 7900 East Pleasant Valley Road, Independence, OH . The requirement is for parts for a Test Stand Generator which is manufactured by Avtron. Development and testing costs have been previously incurred for these parts. Requirement consists of the following: (1) two each UH-60 control unit, test adapt er chassis, adapter/UUT connection cable assembly PN: K745D29157; (2) two each UH-47D control unit, test adapater chassis, adapter/UUT connection cable assembly, PN: K745d29842; (3) two each UH-47D control unit, test adapter chassis, adapter/UUT connection cable assembly PN: K745D28834; (4) two each UH-58 control unit, includes test adapter and software PN: K745D30153; (5) two each OH-58D Gen Cont unit software PN: 682379; (6) two each OH-58D Gen Cont unit software PN: 682380; (7) two each adapter OH-58D tr ansformer rectifier PN: 209-075-999-1; (8) two each UH-60 windshield anti-ice controller PN: 6039-19; (9) two each UH-60 K735 input/output digital test set TS PN: 6039-19; (10) two each adapter UH-60 RH and LH relay pane, test adapter hardware, software , left and right relay panel interface cables; and (11) two each adapter T/S mod kit, amplifier and load bank test set modification kit for OH-58D GCU and UH-60 WA-1C adapter includes AC power amp and load bank, Matron PN: D30156. FOB Destination to S pringfield, MO 65803. The proposed contract action is for parts for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive price quotes. However, a ll quotes received by 8/27/04 5:00PM CST will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
