Description

Demo of air handlers. Survey each air handler conditions prior to demo work. Flexible connectors have been identified as asbestos containing. Contractor shall disconnect and remove the existing Dunham Bush Air Handling equipment complete, includin g but not limited to, c hilled water and hot water piping, condensate drain, electrical conduit, wire, and controls. Furnish and install new Carrier Air Handlers or equal. New air handlers shall be provided with spring type vibration isolators at floor m ounts. Contractor shall furnish and install new sheet metal transitions required to connect new air handlers to the existing duct. Perform asbestos abatement in the areas of the air handling equipment to the extent necessary to remove and replace the air handlers. Flex connectors, pipe insulation and floor tile have been identified as asbestos containing material. Install new insulation on the affected piping. Forth coming contract will be firm-fixed price. The period of performance is 60 calendar day s. The estimated range for this project is $25,000 to $100,000. This acquisition is issued pursuant to the Small Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988 and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Therefore, this solicitation is Unrestricted. For the purpose of determining Small Business size, NAICS 238220 for this acquisition the average annual receipts of concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $1 2 million.
