- Description
- The Air Force intends to award a Sole Source contract to File-Net Corporation, 3565 Harbor Blvd, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 for Non-Personal Services contract to provide all labor, material, tools, parts, transportation and other incidentals necessary to travel to Tinker AFB, OK to perform Remedial Maintenance (RM) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) Service as necessary on File-Net Computer System and its components. The period of performance will commence on 01 OCT 04 and complete on 30 SEP 04 and up to four option years to be exercised at the discretion of the government. A Firm-Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. The estimated award date is no later than 30 Sep 04. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
