- (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) RFQ F1SFS42150100 is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers only, oral offers will not be accepted. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). (iii) This combined synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-24. It is the contractors responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions can be found at: http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffar1.htm (iv) This procurement is being issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. North American Industrial Classification Standard: 332994; Small Business Size Standard: 1000. (v) CLIN (0001) 5 Each: Patriot Small Arms Vehicle Rack for F150 Crew Cab for racking M4/M249 custom built weapons racking consoles for 2004 ford F150 crew cab truck; Modular Racking Console specifically for Ford F150 Super Crew 4 door pickup; Dual racking system allows retention of M4A1 and M249SAW interchangeably in left or right position in racking console; Rack custom fit to Air Force issue FN M249 and Colt M4A1 to insure precise function.; Mounting position allows rapid employment of weaponry for passengers and driver; Computer verified location and for of all console components; Console body/base meets Ford Motor Company specification for attachment to chassis; Side Shields reduce visibility of weapon to passerby and prevent snagging on clothing; Driver side and passenger side arm rests incorporated in side shields; Weapons mounted muzzle up to reduce hazards to equipment and personnel associated with an accidental in-vehicle weapons discharge; Adjustable tension quick release retention device for normal transport; secure locking device for securing in-vehicle; Storage compartment in front section of console; One drivers side and one passenger side open top glove/personal items compartment; 2 front cup holders; 2 front mounted flashlight holders; 1 rear locking container accessed from rear seat; 3 shelf units for glove storage, etc., facing rear seats; 2 extendable flashlight holders facing rear seats; Installation hardware and instructions included; Powder coated abrasion resistant wrinkle finish coating by DuPont; Shipped bolted to skids bubble wrapped inside 275PSI cardboard cartons, or Equal. CLIN (0002) Shipping. (vi) FOB: Destination for delivery to: 366 Security Forces Squadron C/O Richard S. Richardson Bldg 910, 235 7th avenue, Mountain Home AFB, ID 83648. Responsibility and Inspection: Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and Quality Control (QC). (vii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (viii) The Government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the synopsis/solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award shall be based on a Best Value to the Government. Best value can include but is not limited to price, delivery date, and technical capability. (ix) The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (x) The clause at FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
