Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to Upgrade Electrical at the VA Medical Center, Columbia, MO as required by the drawings and specifications. Work includes general construction, alterations, walks, grading, drainage, mechanical and electrical work, generator set and switchgear, utility systems, and certain other items. Electronic copies of the contract specifications and drawings may be obtained free of charge via www.fedbizopps.gov. Requests for hard copy solicitation documents must be in writing to the Contracting Officer and accompanied by a non-refundable check for $75.00 made out to the Department of Veteran Affairs. Only one (1) request for hard copies will be honored per contractor. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted. The drawings are in PDF format and can be opened using Adobe Acrobat. Amendments issued for this solicitation will only be available on the VA Business Opportunity Website; no hard copies will be mailed out. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments. Solicitation documents will be available on or about August 26, 2004. A pre-bid is scheduled for September 8, 2004 at 9:00 AM, Building #1, Auditorium, VA Medical Center, Columbia, MO. The cost range for this project is $1.0 Million to $2.0 Million. The North American classification (NAICS) code is 236220. No electronic offers will be accepted. Award is subject to availability of funds.
