Description
VA New Jersey Healthcare System, Lyons Campus, Acquire: Retinal Thickness Analyzer (RTA), Diagnostic Imaging device Place of Performance is Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 385 Tremont Ave, East Orange NJ 07018 Specifications: Equipment to be provided must be equal or comparable to Talia Technologies RTA: Description: Performance Retinal Thickness Analyzer (RTA), Diagnostic Imaging device that provides direct cross sectional images of the retina for the mapping and quantative measurement of retinal thickness and disk topography. Provides objective look at the optic disc, posterior pole and peripapillary and creates 2D and 3D color topography and thickness maps, deviation probability maps from a normative database and quatative numerical values. Provides ability to compare, exam, and objectively track the progression of patient condition. Multiple diagnostic capability and clinical application in Glaucoma, Diabetic Macular Edema, Cystoid Macular Edema, Age-related Macular Degeneration, and enhance visualization of various retinal pathologies, such as macular holes, macular cysts, and membranes. retinal digital imaging system ( digital fundus camera) providing digital fundus photographs and storage capability. Technical Technical Specification must similar to but not less than: Illumination Source HE-NE Laser, 543.3 NM, 0.0180 Class II Laser device Scanning characteristics 5-13 RTA Scans, At each Scan 16 Optical Cross sections covering a 3 x 3 mm area on the retina Acquisition time 0.3 Sec Per Scan, 3-5 Min Total Patient examination Measurement area Posterior 21 Degree x 21 Degree Perperipapillary 15 degree X 21 Degree Optic Disc 10 Degree x 10 degree Data Acquisition (Thickness) in the macula 80 cross sections Total of 2560 data points Data acquisition (Topography) In the disc area 48 cross sections Total 3072 data points Reproducibility Mean foveal thickness: 8.8 mm at a given point 13 mm Resolution Depth (Axial) Resolution: 52mm Lateral (Transverse) resolution: 12 mm along the slit To include INSTALLATION, TRAINING & SET-UP.
