- Description
- In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management System (FAA AMS) paragraph 3.2.2.4- Single Source Selection Procurement Process, Subpart 3.2.2.4.1.2, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA???s intent to contract with a selected firm using single source procedures. The FAA intends to purchase Barco 2048 x 2048 Monitors brand name only, part number K9334042 and part number K9334010. Barco LLC is the manufacturer and has no dealer network. The Research and Development & Human Factors Laboratory has procured the consoles the electronics that match field configuration down to the track balls and these monitors and brackets are the last piece to complete the system. Every FAA Enroute Center is a duplicate of each other around the country so that there is no disturbance to the work performed when controllers move from Center to Center. Interested parties who can meet the requirements called for in this announcement should respond by August 13, 2004 with their documentation in writing to: FAA William J.
