- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQ 11411-004-5, for the provision of medium shelled eggs for the Federal Correctional Complex (Petersburg) located at 1060 River Road, Hopewell, Virginia 23860. The contract period shall consist of a base period that extends from October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005 and two one-year option periods for renewal that will total thirty six months from the effective date of award (if all option periods are exercised). Estimated yearly contract requirements include: 1) 250,000 dozen eggs, shelled, medium, US Consumer Grade A. The solicitation will be made available on or about August 20, 2004, and will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website, http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the referenced website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is August 30, 2004. The anticipated effective award date is October 1, 2004.
