- The Program Support Center has a requirement for the Office on Womens Health to develop and implement a HIV/AIDS/STD prevention education program for young minority women ages 18-25 attending Hispanic Serving Academic Institutions. The primary intent of this requirement is to increase HIV prevention knowledge and reduce the risk of contracting HIV among young minority women. THIS IS NOT A GRANT. The requirement is being solicited under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. THIS REQUIREMENT IS SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 624190 and the small business size standard is $6 million. The award document shall be a purchase order. The period of performance is one year from date of award. The Government anticipates making four separate awards. The solicitation (Request for Quotation) shall be available electronically 5 days after posting of this notice. The internet address for downloading the solicitation is http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any notification of changes to the solicitation, i.e. amendments, or responses to questions specific to the solicitation document shall be posted on the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to assure that they have the most current information regarding this acquisition. The release date for the solicitation is August 17, 2004.
