- Description
- The Government intends to execute an unrestricted procurement of commercial Liquid Nitrogen, Type II, Grade B, IAW MIL-PRF-27401D, dated 3 Oct 95, NSN 9135-00-965-2526; and Liquid Oxygen, Type II, Grade A, IAW MIL-PRF-25508F, dated 19 Oct 95, NSN 9135-00-965-2527, FOB Destination, with delivery to Tennessee and Maryland. Estimated total quantities are as follows: Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee, – LOX: 1,737 Tons; and Northrop Grumman Corp., Baltimore, Maryland, - LN2: 600 Tons. The Northrop Grumman location has one contractor-lease tank with leased equipment. The resultant award shall be a four-year ten-months or five-year firm-fixed price requirements-type contract(s). The contract ordering period will range from 1 Sep 04 through 31 Aug 09 or 1 Nov 04 through 31 Aug 09. The product requires offerors to have the capability to support bulk shipments. Subject solicitation will be issued on or about 12 March 2004 and posted to the FedBizOpps web page at www.fedbizopps.gov. If you do not have Internet access, a hard copy of the solicitation may be requested. Only written, emailed, or faxed requests for solicitation received directly from the requestor are acceptable.
